Visual Acuity Test

Our easy-to-use visual acuity test helps determine how well you see while standing from a certain distance. Taking the test periodically can help you understand how your vision changes over time. You will need a laptop/computer, measuring tape, standard size credit card or ID and 6 feet of space.

For a more controlled and accurate measurement, we recommend our EyeQue Insight devices.

Instructions

Have a credit card handy for calibrating
Place a credit card (or ID) on the screen over the credit card image below.
Use Slider Bar
Use the slider bar below to resize the image to match your card's size.
Use tape measure
Measure and mark 6 feet from your computer monitor for best result.
Test eye
Test one eye at a time: with the uncovered eye, look at the chart and note the smallest line you can distinguish without squinting.
